    The Great Selkie

The Great Selkie - from the "As The Crow Flies" CD

Come by the Hills - Live: Living Tradition Concert Series

"Come By the Hills"  trad. Recorded at the Living Tradition Concert in Anaheim, April 2014.

    5 Minute Meditation

This 5 minute video is to help you lower your blood pressure, slow your heart rate, and increase your body awareness. The relationship between musical rhythm and our body rhythm is significant. In addition to the obvious health benefits of lower blood pressure and heart rate, as our body rhythms go down, our learning ability, mental functioning and memory is increased. Also, the more familiar you become with calm inner feelings, the more calm and controlled you become in all aspects of your life.

Before you start this video, take your heart rate and record it. Turn off all phones and any devices that may interrupt you. When you have finished the video, take your heart rate again and compare it with your starting heart rate.

If you choose, have a journal or notebook and pen ready to write down any impressions or thoughts you may have during or after the video. The physical act of writing down your thoughts and/or feelings may give you deeper insight into your experience.
